Our Frozen Embryo cycle started on May 21, 2019 (day 2 of my period). Lots of these symptoms listed could be because of the progesterone in oil injections I was taking, as well as the Estrace I was taking daily. I wasn’t paying too close attention to them since a lot of these “symptoms” were happening prior to our embryo transfer.
However, the symptoms increased in intensity after the embryo transfer! So much so that my husband pointed it out – and he’s usually the first to tell me I’m over analyzing things.
So, with that being said, here are my pregnancy symptoms during the two-week-wait after our frozen embryo transfer.

“DP” = Days Past
“6DT” = 6-Day Transfer (We transferred a 6-day Embryo for IVF!)
Essentially, our 6-day embryo is equivalent to 6 days past ovulation (6dpo). So one day past transfer is equivalent to 7dpo and onward. Hope this makes sense!
(Thursday) Transfer Day – Didn’t feel any different. Slept after transfer.
(Friday) 1dp6dt – Extremely tired. Took a nap around 2:30pm and slept until 9pm. Went back to bed after 10 and slept through the night. Cramping. Headache. Sore Boobs.
(Saturday) 2dp6dt – Tired. Feeling lots of strong pinching and fullness. Mild cramps on and off all day. Sore Boobs. Creamy CM.

A lot of my pregnancy symptoms I was experiencing felt like my period was arriving. That’s the closest thing I could describe it as. I never really “felt” pregnant or thought I was pregnant.
I get a lot of messages on Instagram about symptoms and when I actually “felt pregnant”. Truth is… as I’m writing this I am 13 weeks and I JUST NOW started to feel pregnant about two days ago. My first trimester has been nothing like how people make pregnancy out to be.
Moral of the story is… symptoms are not everything. Progesterone can give off the same symptoms which is why a lot of women think they are pregnant when they are not. I don’t think any of my symptoms were related to pregnancy. You hear of women who have a lot of symptoms and then a lot of women who don’t have any!
Basically, stop stressing about pregnancy symptoms. After my Embryo Transfer, I carried on with life as normal and didn’t even think about it. Partially, because I was so used to bad news at this point, that I didn’t think it would even work. I honestly believe not stressing about the outcome of the embryo transfer is what helped me get my BFP (Big Fat Positive)
