Here it is! My 7 week pregnancy update. Sometimes it feels like it’s going by so slowly but now it doesn’t! Lots of things have happened this week… including our very first ultrasound!
I’m still on PIO shots for the pregnancy until the end of July. We have our final appointment with our fertility doctor in August and it feels bittersweet.
7 Weeks Pregnant After IVF
HOW FAR ALONG: 7 Weeks!
GENDER: No idea yet! We did not do genetic testing on our one embryo.
BABY SIZE: The size of a blueberry. 0.51 inches.
CRAVINGS: Pizza and Watermelon!
AVERSIONS: Chicken… grilled chicken especially. I can only have chicken if it’s been fried.
MOVEMENT: Too early for that! 🙂
WHAT I’M WEARING: My HOPE Infertility Awareness shirt and some leggings! I love the shirts I designed and I wore them to most of our frozen embryo transfer cycle appointments. They’re extremely soft and I can’t get enough of them! I have two and totally want more!
BELLY BUTTON: Very much an “innie”
SICKNESS: 7 Weeks it kicked in more for me. One day I was nauseated all day and all week I could not stay awake and wanted to sleep all day/night.
WEIGHT GAIN: None!
PHYSICAL CHANGES: Boobs are very sore/firm and I’m cramping every now and then.
WORKOUT ROUTINE: I haven’t been able to walk like I used to or work out as much as I wanted this week due to the exhaustion.
WHAT WE’VE PURCHASED: Garrett’s parents bought us a crib! It was such a nice surprise. We were looking at cribs at a furniture store and they surprised us with the one we kept going back to!
MOST EXCITED ABOUT: Our next ultrasound! We had our very first one at 7 weeks + 5 days (and I was measuring at 7 weeks + 6 days!). Full vlog of our very first ultrasound is on my YouTube Channel.
LEAST EXCITED ABOUT: The possibility of morning sickness getting worse. I’m drinking water and powerade to stay hydrated and staying indoors where it’s cool. It’s summer right now and summers in Texas get HOT.

💕Nothing but love today💕 Our baby is healthy and has a heartbeat. 🍼 We’re measuring a day ahead, which is great! Baby wiggled a little bit. I cried when we heard the heartbeat… such a surreal moment I’ve dreamed of having the last 5 years we have been actively trying to start our family. Heartbeat was 164. 🌿 Our estimated due date is February 22, 2020. I hope they choose to come a little sooner because I would LOVE an Aquarius ♒️ baby! Anyone else here into Astrology? 🌿 SOUND OFF: what do you think we’re having? 💗💙💗💙 🌿 #ivfpregnancy #pregnantafterinfertility #7weekspregnant #firsttrimester #ivfsuccess #embryotransfer #pregnancy #pregnant #pregnantafterivf #pregnantafterinfertility #babymazzuca
